5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Wednesday, three fathers walked into two hospitals
in Omaha and abandoned their children. One left nine siblings, ages 1
to 17. The men, unless proven to have abused the kids, won't face prosecution under a new Nebraska law that is unique in the nation. The law allows parents to leave a child at a licensed hospital without explaining why不用说明理由.

He says child behavioral problems, not family financial woes, were a factor in the earlier cases. He says little is known about the three new cases, which are under investigation.
None
of the kids was in immediate danger, Landry says. He says the four
oldest of the nine siblings were placed together in an emergency shelter
and the others in a foster home. "They're struggling to varying degrees with what's happened to them." Landry says the courts will decide whether to require the parents to pay child support or to try to reunite them with their children.

Especially in a time like this, when decmocracy is talked about like
weather. When Prince William is a part of charity, he feels the need to
raise the money for whatever cause he is interested in, right? Well, I
think we all know that if he wasn't PRINCE WILLIAM, he won't have the privilage to raise half the money he raises now. And deny it all you want,
but that IS due to the publicity he recieves. So then, how come when
the same publicity is bringing him all these organizations to donate
money, he turns on the press? Why is he a snob about all the things that
have brought him all of his fortune? Well, I think Kate is a snob. She seems so full of her self, like she is a God and we should worship her. I know, I hear people say that, "well, she is just a girl and she is doing her regular day stuff, so leave her alone," I am sorry, but that can't happen.
回应2: What has democracy got to do with the royals? Posing to raise money for the few charities he is involved with, should not allow people to poke into every corner of his life. Being a patron of a charity should be seen as a job, when you are at work fine but, when you are off work, you are entitled to some privacy, none of which has anything to do with his personal fortune! Why can't Kate be left to have a life,
because you want her to pose and smile. She is confident but, I am
amazed that you think she believes herself to be god like, how did you
come to this conclusion about a nice young woman who wants privacy,
rather than worship? If you "hear people saying that she is just a girl
leading a normal life, so leave her alone", surely that means that
there are very few people with the same opinion as you!
回应3: Of course Kate deserves to be left alone, but given that that it is a futile expectation it would be nice to see her handle the situation a little more graciously优雅大方的. I think she comes off snobby(势力的, 自命不凡的) because of this lapse in courtesy, but no, that is not the same as her thinking she is worthy of worship.

回应6: I don't think the British Royals are snobs, they are polite speakers etc but a snob to me is someone who thinks they are better than everyone else and says so. A snob is rude. Snobbery has nothing to do with money either, I know plenty of poor snobs! William does not come across as a snob at all in my opinion, he seems a polite young man.
