But Charlie is only 14 and she does not drive and hates exhaust, so she thinks she has been cursed. She wants a fairy like her best friend Rochelle has, a clothes-shopping fairy that makes everything look perfect on her, or like her frenemy(A person who is ostensibly friendly or collegial with someone but who is actually antagonistic or competitive.) Visitors can catch glimpses of migrating whales as they make their way through the warm waters of the Whitsundays around July–September each year.

Justin's look of love! Bieber gazes adoringly at 'Selena Gomez' look-a-like he sneaked from Rio club into party mansion: Pop idol Justin Bieber gazes 盯着, 凝视着 dreamily at a pretty Brazilian teenager he is said to have become 'besotted with' ( besotted [bi'sotid] adj I. stupefied with drink; intoxicated. II. infatuated; doting. III. foolish; muddled. besot I. To muddle or stupefy, as with alcoholic liquor or infatuation. II. to make stupid or foolish, esp. with infatuation. stupefy ['stju:pi,fai] vb I. to render insensitive or lethargic. II. to confuse or astound. ) after meeting her in a nightclub - 'because she looked like his ex, Selena Gomez'. The photo - obtained exclusively by MailOnline - shows 19-year-old Bieber slumped on a living room sofa looking wistfully at Ms Paes, perhaps with regret at losing the heart of American beauty Selena, who he dated for two years. It is the second time that private moments from Bieber's troubled trip to Brazil have been made public - despite his team's insistence on those he meets having cameras and phones confiscated and signing confidentiality contracts. Earlier this week a 15-second video posted on YouTube showing another Brazilian girl blowing kisses to Bieber, who was fast asleep and wrapped in a bed cover, caused a worldwide storm. The Boyfriend singer is said to be furious at the video, believed to have been filmed by wannabe model Tati Neves Barbosa, who claims she was also invited back to the party at his rented villa. Paes was given special treatment特殊对待 by Bieber, being wrapped up in a blanket with him to hide her from photographers and was escorted into his waiting car as they left the Zax club. The incident occurred a day after Bieber, 19, was spotted leaving a brothel in the city being covered by a bed sheet. But this time paparazzi waiting outside didn't realize the girl was with Bieber as he was rushed out of the club, escorted by bodyguards. It's claimed he chose Paes above all the other girls in the club because she bore an uncanny resemblance to Bieber's ex Selena Gomez. Manager Ms Farias remembered: 'We were playing house music( house music n. A style of disco music with a heavy bass beat, initially popularized in underground all-night parties held in abandoned warehouses. an up-tempo style of disco music characterized by deep bass rhythms, piano or synthesizer melodies, and soul-music singing.), but Justin asked to change it to hip hop, so we obliged. He got up and danced and seemed relaxed, there was no rowdy or bad behaviour. According to sources at the party, Bieber spent most of the rest of morning chatting to the teenager - who speaks perfect English - and refused to let her leave his side不让她离开左右. After spending an hour and a half at the club, the singer asked Mr Mion to round up 30 of the prettiest girls - including those he had hand picked - for a private party he was throwing at his rented mansion in the nearby Noa district. He said: 'Some refused, they were offended that Justin would just assume they would go off with them, and they were rather wary of what would happen when they go there. But Bieber wouldn't let Ms Paes join the bevy of girls packed into a van rented especially to ferry them away, insisting she accompany him in the back of his car and even be escorted through fans and photographers underneath a blanket when he left at around 3.30am. Later he invited her to join him on his now well-known outing to spray paint walls in the city. The trip was supposed to have ended visiting bars in the Bohemian Lapa district of Rio, but was cut short after Bieber's bodyguards allegedly attacked photographers and police were called.

Thomas Kelly案宣判: "We have spent the last hour in court listening to the verdict which supports the offender and leaves us as the victim's family completely cold 目瞪口呆, shocked, and just beyond belief that the sentence was just so lenient仁慈的( ['li:niənt] Inclined not to be harsh or strict; merciful, generous, or indulgent: lenient parents; lenient rules.)," he said. His wife Kathy Kelly also condemned谴责 the verdict. "We're horrified. Absolutely horrified," she said. "How many boys or how many of our children have to die before somebody does something to change these laws to make people accountable for what they do? Justice Stephen Campbell told the court he had carefully considered the victim impact statements(A victim impact statement is a written or oral statement made as part of the judicial legal process, which allows a victim of crime the opportunity to speak during the sentencing of their attacker or at subsequent parole hearings. In some instances videotaped statements are permitted.) from Mr Kelly's family. He said Loveridge, for reasons of drunkenness因为醉酒, was unable or unwilling to control his aggressive urges. Justice Campbell noted that Loveridge wept in court when the Kelly family read out their victim impact statements last month, which he said he took as a sincere expression of remorse诚挚的懊悔. "In my judgment the offender is very unlikely to re-offend. I have the very distinct impression that from the tragic consequences his offending has brought about he has well and truly learnt his lesson," he said. "I find that the combination of 加在一起 the offender's youth, remorse, prospects of rehabilitation and the need to structure sentences for multiple offences constitute special circumstances." Attorney-General said: "Drunken assaults are a terrible scourge( scourge [skɜ:dʒ] n. I. a person who harasses, punishes, or causes destruction. II. a means of inflicting punishment or suffering. III. a whip used for inflicting punishment or torture. ) and every weekend we hear about attacks by intoxicated irresponsible people on bystanders who are lucky to escape with their life. "I have contacted the Director of Public Prosecutions and asked him to review the sentence handed down today to Kieran Loveridge and consider if there are grounds for an appeal." 澳航关闭维修基地: Qantas takes no prisoners ( take no prisoners to be extremely determined to get what you want. to be extremely ruthless with the opposition. Under the laws of war, "....it is especially forbidden....to declare that no quarter will be given". This was established under Article 23 (d) of the 1907 Hague Convention IV - The Laws and Customs of War on Land.) in its cost war: For the past 18 months there has been a sense of inevitability about the announcement Qantas made today that it will close its Avalon heavy maintenance facility at the cost of about 300 engineering jobs. The logic that led to the closure of the group's heavy maintenance facility at Tullamarine and earlier job-shedding at Avalon in May last year hasn't changed since then. As Qantas' ageing fleet of Boeing 747s has been progressively retired逐渐退役, the heavy maintenance infrastructure supporting the fleet has become steadily less productive. Apart from the wastefulness of maintaining a badly under-utilised facility, Qantas can't afford that luxury. It is only modestly profitable in a very volatile industry. Its international operations, while improving, are still bleeding at the rate of almost $250 million a year and its cost base for heavy maintenance has been as much as 30 per cent higher than its competitors. Qantas domestic chief executive officer Lyell Strambi said a comprehensive review had made clear there was no workable solution that would allow continued operation of the sub-scale maintenance facility. "Qantas is gradually retiring our fleet of Boeing 747 aircraft, which means there is not enough work to keep our Avalon base viable and productive," Mr Strambi said in a statement to the Australian Stock Exchange. "Over the next four years there would have been up to 22 months with no scheduled maintenance at Avalon. No business could afford to continue operating a facility under those circumstances." Maintenance on the 747 fleet will be done elsewhere, but where that is yet to be decided. "Qantas is committed to engineering and maintenance in Australia and will continue to do the vast majority of its maintenance in Australia, employing thousands of people," he said. "Qantas broke the hearts of workers this morning. This is devastating news for Qantas workers and their families," Mr Davis told reports at Avalon. "Qantas should be ashamed of themselves. They have treated their workforce and their representatives ... with contempt." Mr Davis said workers would not hesitate to move out of the state in search for work. "If they want to continue in this profession they will have no choice," he said. "I believe our members are still in there receiving the news, some have wandered out and told us the lay of the land( lay of the land I. Lit. the arrangement of features on an area of land. Mr Purvinas said the work would be shipped to Manila, Hong Kong and Singapore despite facilities being available in Australia. He said he had safety concerns about the work being done offshore. "There was no surprise but when you get the news it still hurts. My guts are in knots纠结到一起了(tie somebody (up) in knots also tie somebody into knots to cause someone to become very confused or worried. Tim won Big Brother: BIG Brother winner Tim Dormer has revealed that he had 'intimate relations' with Kesha. The 29-year-old was chatting to Mix 101.1 FM's Chrissie Swan and Jane Hall this morning when he was quizzed about his alleged hook up with the pop star. "Let me just wrack my brain," Dormer said. "All I'll say about that is I had glitter in places that( glitter I. (usually foll by with) to be decorated or enhanced by the glamour (of). the show glitters with famous actors. II. 闪闪发光. The hosts then asked the reality TV star if he knew Kesha's real age, to which he responded, "Put glitter on a turd ( turd [tɜ:d] n Slang. I. 狗屎. 屎. a lump of dung; piece of excrement. II. an unpleasant or contemptible person or thing. Usage:This word was formerly considered to be taboo, and it was labelled as such in previous editions of Collins English Dictionary. However, it has now become acceptable in speech, although some older or more conservative people may object to its use ) and it'll sparkle." Dormer, a former radio host who worked for Nova as well as Southern Cross Austereo, also once streaked on a plane in front of Rihanna. Big Brother's Tim Dormer is a serial show-off: THERE are some people who make their living out of being extroverts. Snooki, Paris Hilton and Russell Brand come to mind, and Big Brother's new housemate Tim is one of them. As Mumbrella reported this morning, the housemate who Channel Nine has described as a "student" is actually a serial show-off.  No doubt the producers are hoping his penchant for acting like a clown will get the viewers in. "My life is a constant search for weird and fun," he said. "There are no limits. I crossed that line years ago and life is so much more interesting on the other side. If more people lived life like me I'd have more friends. To get more friends I'd have to sacrifice who I am. I can't have both." Dormer's previous antics( 怪异举动, 荒唐事, 蠢事. egg on 怂恿. ) include streaking on Rihanna's tour plane last year. The singer let a bunch of media follow her around for a few days and Tim let a bunch of media see more than they needed to of him. "I was just in the bathroom and was like, 'Hell it's 3 a.m. and we're on an airplane, and have been flying for ages," Dormer reasoned辩解 at the time. "Plus, I have a massive crush on Sydney, one of the air hostesses." In 2010 he was also reported as having gone on a date with controversial singer Ke$ha. The pair was seen having dinner at Bondi Italian restaurant in Sydney before reportedly moving to the beach for a good old-fashioned "pashing" session.

Big Brother Controversial: "Big Brother Australia" housemate Tahan is being protected by the show? Several viewers and one rather credible witness in the form of ex-housemate Nathan have revealed that the other girls' perception of Tahan as a mean girl isn't exaggerated, but the show opts to edit out anything that would make her look bad on camera. So that's why viewers haven't really seen any clip of Tahan badmouthing 说坏话 any of her friends as her rivals in the house have said. The show has cut out (=edit out) any video that shows her ever doing the same. Perhaps the girls were just making Tahan look bad during live nominations, which Big Brother can't edit out, and Nathan just wanted to reinforce their claims. But why go to such lengths( go great lengths, go to any lengths. ) to disparage ( disparage [dɪˈspærɪdʒ] vb (tr) I. to speak contemptuously of; belittle. II. to damage the reputation of. ) someone they want to rid of? Why would the girls invent something that they knew would be found out sooner or later? Maybe he(Nathan, ex-housemate as a intruder) was still reeling 气不过, 忘不掉 about the fact that Tahan chose his fellow intruder Justynn to stay in the house instead of him? He must be ticked off with her choice after he gave back her beloved hair dryer. But all these are speculations所有这些都不过是推测. What the viewers only know is that Tahan is being constantly called a mean girl and a bully by her fellow housemates, but have limited knowledge why that is so. Speaking of Tahan, don't even think about making any negative remarks on her on the Big Brother official Facebook page if you don't want to get banned. According to some online commenters, the BB site would just remove any dissenting opinions about the dark-skinned beauty even if the remarks aren't derogatory. Some commenters were even reported for spamming when they dared to defend Jade or Mikkayla on the official Facebook page. "I just got blocked from commenting on the official page, only because I don't agree with the 100s and 1000s of people brainwashed by big brother's editing and not agreeing with the Tahan lovers, I can't comment or anything! And there's others saying heaps worse about jade and mikkayla! Someone has to call them out on this bad behaviour, it's not a fair game if you can't show support for your fav hm." User account name Mary Rose also pointed out another alleged bias in the whole Tahan debacle, saying, "Mikkayla's family have said that they aren't allowed to send shout outs to radio stations, but how come David Reynold is talking about Tahan on Nova?" If it's true that Mikkayla's family were banned from promoting her, then shouldn't every family member or even partners of housemates be prohibited to promote them as well? Blogger Leesalittle also shared some revealing information about how Big Brother is only favourable to Tahan but not to others (read about it here) and how Tahan's supporters have carried out a dubious tactic可疑测策略 that would get her votes even from unsuspecting 轻信的, 不加怀疑的 One Direction fans. It's doubtful that the producers of the show would put a stop to the scheme since 1) it might be a shady tactic but not exactly illegal, and 2) the producers have also turned a blind eye on a similar act performed by Ed's family when they ran a contest for votes. So who's going home on Wednesday? Boog is the best bet since, as an intruder, she hasn't developed any solid fan base yet. However, basing on the comments on various social media both from Tahan and Mikkayla's supporters, they have sworn to vote for their idol and Boog to get rid of the other one. With the likes of ex-infantry soldier Matthew and sports agent Ed circling the attractive Tahan, Reynolds(Tihan's boyfriend) has a right to be nervous. "I told her when she went in, that they can portray you anyway that they want to" confirmed Reynolds. "For this show, it probably works out better if she was single. Speaking with Nova 106.9's Brisbane breakfast show, Ash, Kip & Luttsy, Reynolds declined that he has a "free pass" to cut loose while his girlfriend is in the house. "No, no, that's not the case whatsoever!"
