The trees are common in parks throughout the city, most notably in a long curved avenue in New Farm Park in Brisbane, in Goodna, and in private gardens. Banksia(那种花呈柱形的紫色或者黄色的, 树枝像是松树的树或者灌木丛) is a genus of around 170 species in the plant family Proteaceae. These Australian wildflowers and popular garden plants are easily recognised by their characteristic flower spikes and fruiting "cones" and heads. Heavy producers of nectar, banksias form a vital part of the food chain in the Australian bush. They are an important food source for all sorts of nectarrific animals, including birds, bats, rats, possums, stingless bees and a host of invertebrates. Furthermore, they are of economic importance to Australia's nursery and cut flower industries. The Banksia genus was first described and named by Carolus Linnaeus the Younger in his April 1782 publication Supplementum Plantarum; hence the full name for the genus is "Banksia L.f." The genus name honours the English botanist Sir Joseph Banks, who collected the first Banksia specimens in 1770, during James Cook's first expedition. As the flower spikes or heads age, the flower parts dry up and may turn shades of orange, tan or dark brown colour, before fading to grey over a period of years. In some species, old flower parts are lost, revealing the axis; in others, the old flower parts may persist for many years, giving the fruiting structure a hairy appearance毛哄哄的, 毛茸茸的. Old flower spikes are commonly referred to as "cones", although they are not: cones only occur in conifers and cycads. Despite the large number of flowers per inflorescence, only a few of them ever develop fruit结果实, and in some species a flower spike will set no fruit at all. 6. Popular varieties used in modern landscaping include the bright red Dynamite Crape Myrtle, the deep pink 深粉色, 桃红色 Pink Velour Crape and the purple Twilight Crape Myrtle, which also has a bark that changes colors. Crape myrtles are chiefly known for their colorful and long-lasting flowers which occur in summer months. Flowers are borne in summer and autumn in panicles of crinkled flowers with a crepe-like饼状的 texture. Colors vary from deep purple to red to white, with almost every shade in between. Although no blue-flowered varieties exist, it is toward the blue end of the spectrum that the flowers trend, with no sight of orange or yellow except in stamens and pistils. The fruit is a capsule, green and succulent at first, then ripening to dark brown or black dryness. It splits along six or seven lines, producing teeth much like those of the calyx, and releases numerous, small, winged seeds.

Professional bugs can fit into pens, calculators and other commonplace items. Some are only the size of small shirt buttons, although the power and operational life of the smallest bugs is very short." wiki - bugging: A covert listening device, more commonly known as a bug or a wire, is usually a combination of a miniature radio transmitter with a microphone. The use of bugs, called bugging, is a common technique in surveillance, espionage and in police investigations. It can also imply a negative tendency (He's a silly bugger for losing his keys) [i.e., He's a fool for often losing his keys]. 作为动词: As a verb, the word is (potentially accidentally) used by the British to denote sodomy. In the UK, the phrase Bugger me sideways (or a variation thereupon) can be used as an expression of surprise. It can be used as a synonym for 'broken', as in "This PC's buggered," "Oh no! I've buggered it up," or "It's gone to buggery." In Anglophone Southern Africa, also in Australia and the UK, "buggered" is colloquially used to describe something, usually a machine or vehicle, as broken but can be repaired. The phrase bugger off 滚走 (bug off in American English) means to go, or run, away; when used as a command it means "go away" ["get lost" or "leave me alone"] and can be seen to be used in much the same type of relatively softly 'offensive' manner. "I'm buggered 累死了, 累惨了, 筋疲力竭的" or "I'll be buggered" is used as a colloquial phrase in the UK (and often in New Zealand and Australia as well) to denote or feign surprise at an unexpected (or possibly unwanted) occurrence. "I'm buggered" can also be used to indicate a state of fatigue.
