You're the protective services - you're not f--king five-o mate," the woman shouts at the officers. "Don't tell me what to do in the f--king society mate." When the display of strength 展示力量 fails to elicit a response from the officers the thin-framed 身材瘦削的 man drops to the ground and starts doing push-ups. But his pleas fall on deaf ears and soon the officers try and cuff the mother who resists them all the way, leading to a scuffle until she is eventually handcuffed and led away.

Why red wine and blackcurrants [ˌblækˈkʌrənt] 黑加仑(a small soft dark fruit that grows especially in Europe on a bush called a blackcurrant bush. ) are sexual superfoods: Flavonoid-rich 黄酮类 foods like blueberries and red wine prevent erectile dysfunction, scientists have found. Improving your sex life could be as simple as drinking red wine and eating more fruit. A 40 year study by Harvard and University of East Anglia scientists has found that middle-aged men who enjoyed a regular glass of red wine, and plenty of citrus fruits and berries were less likely to develop erectile dysfunction. Researchers found just three or four portions or glasses of flavonoid-rich food and drinks were associated with a reduced risk of the problem. Of all the different flavonoids, Anthocyanins - found in blueberries, cherries, blackberries, radishes and blackcurrant, flavanones and flavones, found in citrus fruits, were found to offer the greatest benefits in preventing the condition. Chocolate also contains flavonoids but is likely to have less impact 影响小. "Men who regularly consumed foods high in these flavonoids were 10 per cent less likely to suffer erectile dysfunction. In terms of quantities, we're talking just a few portions ( 饭量. 一餐饭的量. the amount of food that one person eats at a meal. It is already known that increased exercise can improve erectile function, but the new research shows that eating a flavonoid-rich diet is as good for erectile function as briskly ( brisk I. moving or acting quickly. The study also showed that a higher total fruit intake was associated with a 14 per cent reduction in the risk of erectile dysfunction. And a combination of consuming flavonoid-rich foods with exercise can reduce the risk by 21 per cent. "We already knew that intake of certain foods high in flavonoids may reduce the risk of conditions including diabetes and cardiovascular disease," said lead researcher Professor Aedin Cassidy, of the University of East Anglia. "This is the first study to look at the association 关联, 关系 between flavonoids and erectile dysfunction, which affects up to half of all middle-aged and older men. "Flavonoids are present in many plant-based foods and drinks including fruits, vegetables, tea, herbs and wine. "We examined six main types of commonly consumed flavonoids and found that three in particular - anthocyanins, flavanones and flavones - are beneficial. More than 50,000 middle aged men were included in the study. They were asked about their ability to have and maintain an erection sufficient for intercourse - dating back to 1986. Figures on dietary intake was also collected every four years. The researchers took into account a range of factors such as body weight, physical activity, amount of caffeine consumed, and whether the participants smoked. More than a third of the men surveyed 被调查的 reported suffering new onset erectile dysfunction. But those who consumed a diet rich in anthocyanins, flavones and flavanones were less likely to suffer the condition. Prof Cassidy said: "The top sources of anthocyanins, flavones and flavanones consumed in the US are strawberries, blueberries, red wine, apples, pears, and citrus products. "We also found that the benefits were strongest among younger men." The researchers also looked at other lifestyle factors and found that men who consumed a high intake of anthocyanins and flavanones and who were also physically active had the lowest risk of erectile dysfunction. Study senior author Professor Eric Rimm, of Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, added: "As well as improving sexual health for middle-aged men, there is another important benefit linked to heart health. "Erectile dysfunction is often an early barometer of poor vascular function and offers a critical opportunity to intervene and prevent cardiovascular disease, heart attack and even death. "Men with erectile dysfunction are likely to be highly motivated to make healthier lifestyle choices, such as exercising more and eating the right foods - which would greatly benefit their long-term cardiovascular health as well."

明星故事: Taylor Swift has been releasing several apparent Harry Styles references amid rumors that the One Direction member was dating Kendall Jenner. Just as dating rumors about the "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" star and British boy band member surfaced, the pop-country singer also coincidentally ( 碰巧的. 无巧不巧的. used for saying that something happens by chance. Coincidentally, she lives next door to my mother.) dropped her video for "Out Of The Woods" online. The song has long been rumored to be about Styles. Although the "Shake It Off' singer has never confirmed the rumors, the music video that already has over 20 million views now reportedly contained vital clues that proved it was about the One Direction member, as told by Teen Vogue. The blue dress, in particular, that the 26-year-old singer wore has been connected to the same dress she apparently had on following her breakup with the British singer. The "Out Of The Woods" video also dropped online on New Year's eve, which to many Haylor fans was reminiscent of the time during the 2013 New Year when the former couple kissed in public. In a report on Elle, it was also noted how Swift ripped off her necklace 扯下项链 in one of the scenes of the music video. The moment was linked by fans to the former pair sharing a couple necklace 情侣项链 when they were still dating. While all the references on the new Taylor Swift video may have just been a coincidence just as it might be purportedly only by chance that the footage dropped just as Harry Styles Kendall Jenner dating rumors swirled, the "Style" singer once again dropped a new version of "Blank Space" that has also been associated with the boy band member just a few days ago. As told by Metro though, "Blank Space" was not all about Kendall Jenner's rumored boyfriend Harry Styles. Instead, Taylor Swift explained that the song was inspired by how the media often painted her to be - a woman who dates and drops men. "I wrote, actually, as kind of a response... in the last couple of years, the media have had a really wonderful fixation on 着迷于, 孜孜不倦的 kind of painting me as like the 'psycho serial dater girl,'" she said in the video. "My first reaction was to be like 'man that's a bummer, this isn't fun for me.' But then my second reaction ended up being, 'hey that's actually kind of a really interesting character they're writing about.'".

PNG食人族: Reality TV star feared he would be EATEN by Papua New Guinea cannibals who tied him to a tree as they savagely attacked his girlfriend: A British reality TV star and his girlfriend feared they would be eaten by cannibals after they were captured 抓住, 逮住 by a tribe while on holiday in Papua New Guinea. Matthew Iovane and his American partner Michelle Clemens were trekking through the jungle when they were confronted by a gang who tied them up, stripped them naked and beat them with machetes. At one point, Mr Iovane was shackled to a tree 拷到树上 while Miss Clemens was repeatedly attacked and had her fingers sliced open. During their ordeal, they had no idea why they had been targeted – and the only thing they could understand their captors saying was 'kill you'.  The couple finally managed to escape while they were being force-marched ( forced march 越野 (military) A movement on foot by soldiers or military prisoners, who must, in order to satisfy a military requirement, travel at a speed or in adverse conditions that would normally tire them excessively. death march A forced movement of people, on foot, in such circumstances that many die during the journey. A loaded march 负重长征, 负重越野 is a relatively fast march over distance carrying a load. A loaded march is known as a forced foot march in the US Army. Less formally, it is a ruck march in the United States, a tab in British Army slang and a yomp in Royal Marines slang. In many countries, the ability to complete loaded marches is a core military skill, especially for infantry and special forces. Loaded marching is particularly important in Britain, where all soldiers must complete annual loaded march tests. In certain climates, the use of loaded marches is limited, since they would result in high casualty rates through heat exhaustion. ) through the jungle and ran naked back to safety. The incident is now being investigated by the Foreign Office, who are helping the Papua New Guinea authorities find the tribesmen responsible. The couple flew to Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea's capital, and set off on a 60-mile hike along the Kokoda Trail, in the south-east of the country. For five days, they met a host of welcoming villagers and spent every night sleeping in the open after foraging for their food in the forest. But on the final day of their trip, Mr Iovane and Miss Clemens were suddenly confronted by two tribesmen, one in front and one behind, who were both armed with machetes, followed by several other natives. Mr Iovane told The Sun: 'We'd joked about the famous cannibals of Papua New Guinea's jungle but it was no laughing matter when these men came out of the bush. 'They looked very scary in native costumes and what looked like warpaint and came closer before circling around us. 'They tore up my T-shirt to blindfold蒙住眼睛 me and the awful thought crossed my mind that we could be on the menu.' Thinking they were being robbed, the pair offered the gang their belongings, but the tribesmen ignored their backpacks and tied them up. While they were being held by the tribe, one man repeatedly threatened Mr Iovane, swinging his machete at him while shouting 'Kill you'. The gang later ransacked their bags - finding Miss Clemens' iPhone and shouting at her to turn it on. At one point, she suffered deep cuts to her fingers from her kidnappers' machetes, and now she fears she may never fully regain the feeling in them. When the travellers finally managed to run away, they were threatened by wild dogs and hurt by poison ivy 毒藤 - but at last they found a friendly local who raised the alarm. Mr Iovane and Miss Clemens are now recovering from their ordeal in Port Moresby. Local assistant Police Commissioner Sylvester Kalaut told The National newspaper: 'The male trekker 徒步旅行者 was tied to a tree and the female was repeatedly attacked before three of her fingers were chopped. 'The incident took place for an hour before they (trekkers) were set free.' Police said at least two suspects carrying bush knives and spears were involved. The couple fled to a village and were taken to the lawless( I. 无法无天的. not willing to obey the law, especially by using violence. a lawless mob. II. a lawless place, period of time, or society has no laws or has laws that no one obeys. a lawless frontier town. ) Pacific island's capital Port Moresby, where they were given medical attention. Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed the attack and said the couple were hiking without a licensed tour operator. The island of New Guinea is believed to be one of the world's last outposts ( I. a military camp that is far away from the army. II. a small town far away from other towns, usually where trading takes place. ) of cannibalism, with the most recent known case dating to 2012. Thousands of native tribes, many of which are cut off from the rest of the world 与世隔绝, live in the island's remote jungles.  They spoke of their fears of being eaten by spear-waving 挥舞着 tribesmen after they were captured while trekking in a jungle known for cannibalism. Brit Matthew Iovane and American girlfriend Michelle Clemens, both 31, had been on the dream trip to Papua New Guinea when they were pounced ( I. 擒拿. 擒住. to quickly jump on or hold someone or something. They pounced on their suspect. II. to react in a very sudden way, especially by criticizing someone. White House aides pounced on the remark.) on by painted men on Monday. Two natives with machetes beat and stripped the terrified pair before blindfolding them and leading them into the jungle. The couple said the tribesmen, one of whom wore a mask made from feathers and vines, were so primitive 原生态的 that they communicated in grunts. But they said they knew enough English to issue the chilling warning: "We will kill you." Matthew was brutally beaten when the pair tried to escape. Michelle had three fingers sliced to the bone by a machete as she fought her captors. "They were totally feral 野蛮的 and we were at their mercy. I thought we'd vanish into the jungle and never be seen again." Cases of cannibalism on the Pacific island nation of Papua New Guinea have been reported as recently as 2012. Some natives are also thought to follow a tradition of feasting on relatives' brains at funerals. The adventure holiday regulars 常客 agreed to meet in Sydney, Australia, and then fly to Papua New Guinea together. They planned to tackle the arduous Kokoda Trail, a 60-mile hike through one of the last great unexplored wildernesses on Earth. Matthew, who DJs in his spare time, added: "The first five days were among the most amazing of our lives. We lived like Tarzan and Jane on nuts packed into our rucksacks and bananas, papaya, wild spinach and exotic 'tree tomatoes' found only in this jungle. "Villagers we met along the way were wonderfully welcoming and rushed out to greet us and we slept under the stars soaking up the most astonishing scenery of mountains and jungle creeks. "It was truly a dream trip made even better by the way Michelle and I loved each other's company. As we set out in the morning of the final day I felt elated ( extremely happy and excited. )." The couple had hired a native to carry a heavy bag early in the trip, but he had peeled off ( peel off I. 剥下来.[transitive] to remove a tight or wet piece of clothing. The kids peeled off their wet clothes. II. peel off or peel away [intransitive] 各奔东西. 分道扬镳. to start moving in a different direction from the people or vehicles that you are with. They are convinced he betrayed them. Matthew said: "We were about an hour into the walk when a tribesman appeared ahead of us and another behind us. "Our first reaction was to try to calm them and we even thought it must be some kind of a prank, but we realised very quickly that we were in a very serious situation. "They both had machetes with huge blades and one had a long wooden spear with a crude arrowhead and they were grunting ( grunt I. [intransitive] to make a short low sound in your throat and nose at the same time. He grunted with satisfaction. a. Sound effect if an animal such as a pig grunts, it makes a low sound. II. [transitive] 低吼. to say something using low short sounds, especially when you do not want to talk. She grunted a reply. "Are you still here?" he grunted.). "I thought we were being robbed so we put down our bags and tried to calm them, saying they could take everything when they started pushing and threatening us. "They got more angry and didn't seem to understand the value of our belongings and hiking kit. It meant nothing to them. "Then one turned on me, swinging 挥舞着 his machete and began tearing 撕扯 at my clothes until I was stripped virtually naked. They looked fearsome 吓人的 and I was too terrified to fight back." The couple did try to flee, but fell after becoming tangled in vines and were quickly recaptured. While being held in blindfolds in a snake-infested 丛生的 scrub, they were then subjected to a torture game. Matthew said: "The one in a mask punched me, tied my hands in vines and then began playing a cruel cat and mouse game with me. "He was grunting and shouting 'kill you' while sliding his machete blade across my throat, then swung it towards my face. Each time he'd lift it at the last moment and chop it into the tree I was leaning against. "I could hear Michelle was putting up a fight( put up a good/brave fight 奋力抵抗. Offer resistance to an attack. to try in a determined way to achieve something even though you do not succeed. We put up a good fight in this match and were unlucky to lose.), but when they brought us back together I could tell she was hurt and heard her crying in pain. She said to me, 'We have to get away, I have to get to hospital'." Michelle said the tribesmen later then went through their belongings and despite their seemingly primitive nature, they recognised her iPhone. She said: "They took off my blindfold and shook my phone while grunting as if to say, 'Make it work'. "I swear I heard one of them say what sounded the word 'password', which might have been funny if I hadn't thought I was about to die." The couple finally fled their captors as they were being marched along a ridge back towards the trail. Matthew said: "They took our belongings, I was naked in the most remote jungle on Earth with no shoes and Michelle was bleeding buckets 血流如注 beside me in her underwear.
